Post Hole Drilling by Just Walls in Geelong

Post Hole Drilling Geelong

Just Walls provides machine post hole drilling across Geelong and the surrounding region. Whether it is a run of fence posts, stumps for a deck, or engineered footings for a retaining wall, our excavator-mounted augers drill clean, consistent holes to the diameter and depth your job requires — far faster and straighter than digging by hand.

What We Drill

  • Retaining wall post holes to engineering spec
  • Fence and gate post holes
  • Deck, verandah and pergola stump holes
  • Bored footings and piers for extensions and sheds
  • Tree planting holes

Auger Sizes: 300mm to 900mm, Depths to 8 Metres

We carry augers in 300mm, 350mm, 450mm, 500mm, 750mm and 900mm diameters and can bore to depths of up to 8 metres — covering everything from standard fence posts through to large engineered piers founded deep below the surface. Mounted on excavators from 2 to 14 tonne, we can drill in tight backyard access or across open rural blocks around the Bellarine, Surf Coast and Golden Plains.

Hard or Rocky Ground? No Problem

Plenty of ground around Geelong turns to rock just below the surface. Where a standard auger will not penetrate, we switch to rock augers designed to cut through hard material — see our rock auger drilling service. You get the hole you need, on the first visit.

Post Hole Drilling FAQs

What size holes can you drill? +

Auger diameters of 300mm, 350mm, 450mm, 500mm, 750mm and 900mm, to depths of up to 8 metres. That covers standard fence and deck posts through to large engineered bored piers — tell us the spec on your plans and we will match the auger to it.

Can you drill on a tight-access block? +

Yes — our compact excavator fits through most side gates and drills in confined backyards where a larger machine cannot go.

What if you hit rock? +

We drill a lot of rocky ground around Geelong and carry rock augers for exactly that. If the ground is harder than expected we change attachments rather than abandoning the hole.

How many holes can you do in a day? +

In average ground a machine auger drills a hole in minutes, so a full fence line or deck layout is usually done in a single visit.
